What do I mean by gifts? I see GIFTS as those attributes of your personality that come out when you are at your best. For me, that’s joy, kindness, and love. That’s when I feel most alive. It’s taken me a long time to realize the true value of those gifts.

I’ve had jobs and relationships where my gifts were either not welcome or even discouraged. Over time, I’d end up feeling sad, frustrated, and undervalued. In each situation, I was letting my worth and my value be defined by the job or the role, leading to depression and feelings of worthlessness. I felt like the fire that was once inside me had burned out, and I didn’t know who I was anymore.

It took time and work to rekindle that flame and take ownership of how invaluable my gifts are. I rediscovered parts of myself that I had either hidden or pushed aside. In doing so, I have realized how great it feels to use the gifts that truly make me, me — regardless of what role I’m in. And now, I’ve developed programs to help others who are struggling with the same thing, using my gifts of kindness, curiosity, and humor.

I want to help you rediscover your own gifts and figure out ways to use them. Because I know you’ve got them, and I know how valuable they are.
